What if a payment fails or an order stays unpaid?

If a payment has failed or an order still shows as unpaid, check the order alongside your bank or payment provider. This helps you work out what needs fixing without paying for the same order twice.

What should I check first?

  1. Check the Airventory order’s payment status and error message.

  2. Compare it with your bank or payment provider’s result.

  3. Complete missing delivery details through Edit.

  4. If the payment was declined and no charge was taken, retry from Pay.

If a charge is pending or has been taken, ask support to check it before retrying.

My bank shows a charge, but the order is unpaid. What next?

If your bank shows a charge but Airventory still shows the order as unpaid, contact support before trying again. Send the order number, payment reference, time and a screenshot of the result, with full card numbers and security details hidden. We can check the transaction and help establish whether another payment is needed. You can find the order in Orders.

Why has production not started?

Production begins after the order is approved and paid in Airventory. A customer paying through your storefront does not complete that fulfillment payment, and an approval hold can also keep the order waiting. Check both the payment status and any hold message. The What do the order statuses mean? explains what each stage means.

Can I retry the payment?

If the payment was declined and the order is still unpaid, you can use its payment action again. If the result is pending or your bank already shows a charge, let support check it first so you do not create a duplicate payment. Our How do I pay for Airventory orders? shows the steps for an unpaid order.
