Pricing & billing
How do I set prices and estimate profit?
You choose your selling price and keep control of your margin. The calculator helps you compare product costs and potential profit, so you can find pricing that works for your brand.
Who sets my selling price?
You set the retail price and keep the margin. The cost calculator includes a recommended selling range and lets you try your own price. If you change a connected template’s price and save it, that can update the store listing’s price. How do I edit templates and published products?
How is estimated profit calculated?
The calculator takes your selling price and subtracts the selected garment, prints, labels and estimated shipping. For the yearly illustration, it multiplies that per-item margin by the daily sales you choose and by 365 days. You can change the inputs to compare different products and price points. Open the calculator to try your own figures.
Does the estimate assume free shipping?
The estimate assumes you offer your customer free shipping, with the displayed selling price being the amount they pay. Shipping still forms part of your cost, so the calculator deducts it when working out the margin rather than adding it to your selling price. This helps you see what is left after delivering the product. You can review the cost breakdown here.
Which costs are excluded from the profit estimate?
The illustration excludes tax, payment and storefront fees, advertising, returns and other business costs. It shows the margin at the sales volume you enter, rather than predicting how many products you will sell. Use it to compare ideas and understand your costs, then allow for your own business expenses when setting prices. The What goes into the product and printing cost? explains the fulfillment charges.
