How do I use size charts and measure garments?
Each garment has its own measurement chart to help you choose the right fit and give your customers clear sizing information. Use the chart alongside a sample to understand the finished product.
Which chart should I use?
Use the measurement chart on the product page for the garment you are ordering. Boxy, regular and oversized are different cuts, so the same size can have different dimensions across styles. The chart shows the garment’s measurements rather than just a size name, making it easier to choose the shape you want and explain it to your customers.
How do I measure a garment?
Lay a garment flat and measure the points shown on the product chart, using the same units. Chest width is measured straight across the flat garment, not around the body. Compare body length from the same starting point shown in the chart. Airventory garments are pre-shrunk.
What should I show in my store?
Include the measurement chart for the exact garment you sell, with:
The units, clearly marked as centimeters or inches.
A short description of the fit.
Sample photos that show the shape and drape.
Use the specifications on the catalog product page.
What if the measurements do not match?
If a garment appears different from its measurement chart, contact support with the Airventory order number and product details. Lay the garment flat and take photos showing the measuring tape at the points used in the chart. This gives us what we need to compare the measurements and help you resolve the issue. The How do I report a print or product problem? explains what else to include.
