Artwork & printing
How do I upload and position my artwork?
Our design canvas gives you control over how your artwork looks on the garment. Upload your design, adjust its size and placement, and save a product that is ready to sample or add to your store.
What artwork file should I prepare?
Use the highest-quality original you have, ideally at least 3000 × 4000 pixels and around 300 DPI at the intended print size. Larger graphics need more pixels to retain detail at their full dimensions. If you only want the artwork to print, export it with a transparent background. Our How should I prepare artwork for a sharp print? explains how to choose the right resolution.
Where do I add artwork to my garment?
Open the garment’s design canvas and choose the print view you want to customize, such as Front or Back. In the Artwork panel, click Drop your artwork here to open your image library, or drag a file onto that area. You can start by choosing a garment from the catalog.

How do I upload a new file or reuse a design?
In Image Files, click Upload to add a new design or choose an image you have already saved in the library. The uploader accepts JPG, JPEG and PNG files up to 50 MB. Use a PNG with transparency if you do not want a rectangular background printed with the design. Once selected, the artwork is ready to position on the garment. You can review the preparation tips in our How should I prepare artwork for a sharp print?.

How do I position and scale my design?
Use the Scale, Rotate and Position controls to set the look you want, checking the artwork against the garment in the canvas. Keep the design on the actual fabric rather than placing it beyond the garment outline; the blue area represents the printing plate. Airventory scales the design across garment sizes to maintain its proportions. Our What print areas and placements are available? explains the placements in more detail.

What should I check on each print area?
Look at each print view you have selected, including the back or any additional positions, rather than checking only the front. Review the artwork’s size, position and appearance on your chosen garment color. Look for unwanted backgrounds, cropped details or lettering that is too small to read. The What print areas and placements are available? helps you check how each area is used.
How do I save and use my product?
Click Save Product Template when you are happy with the design. It will then appear in Product Templates, where you can use Order to get a sample or Add to store to publish or link the product. You can follow the How do I order my first sample? to see it in person, or the How do I publish a product to my store? when you are ready to sell.
