Pricing & billing
How do taxes, invoices and currencies work?
Your Airventory checkout shows the tax charged on the fulfillment order. Here is how the current billing setup handles VAT, invoices and currency, and how that differs from tax on your own retail sales.
How is VAT charged?
For EU deliveries, Airventory’s current billing uses the VAT rate for the delivery country. For example, deliveries to the Netherlands use 21%, while deliveries to Greece use 24%. Shipping is charged at the same rate as the goods. You can review the tax amount in the actual checkout before paying. The How do I pay for Airventory orders? shows where to review an order.
Can I enter my EU VAT ID?
You can save your Tax number in your billing details. The current setup does not validate EU VAT IDs or automatically apply reverse-charge treatment, so entering the number does not remove VAT from the order. You can How do I manage billing and shipping addresses? and contact support if you need help with the order’s billing.
How do I get an invoice?
Airventory is operated by Airventory OÜ, an Estonian company. Invoices are available on request through Contact support in the Help Center menu. Include your company details and the Airventory order numbers.
Which currency is charged?
Airventory bills in USD. The website currency selector converts displayed estimates, while the app checkout shows the currency and total you will pay.
Why does the calculator show a total before tax?
The public calculator lets you compare products and destinations without entering a full checkout address. It therefore shows the estimated total before tax, with applicable tax confirmed on the actual Airventory order. You can calculate the product cost first and review the complete payable amount at checkout.
Does this cover VAT on my own sales?
Tax on your customer’s purchase is separate from tax on your Airventory fulfillment order. You manage the retail sale through your store, including its tax setup, while Airventory bills you for fulfillment. An accountant can help you apply the right treatment for your business and markets. Our How do customer and fulfillment payments differ? explains how the two transactions fit together.
