Airventory Privacy Policy
Last Updated: October 7, 2025
Airventory (“the App”) provides on-demand fulfillment and product catalog services (“the Service”) to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.
1. Personal Information the App Collects
When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:
Orders (read access): We access order details such as item names, SKUs, quantities, and shipping addresses for the purpose of fulfilling customer orders.
Products (write access): We create or update products in your Shopify store when you sync or upload products from the Airventory catalog.
Inventory (read access): We check stock and fulfillment data to ensure order accuracy and prevent overselling.
Additionally, we collect the following information to operate the Service:
Merchant information: your store name, contact name, and email address (to set up and maintain your account).
Customer information: shipping name, address, and contact details necessary to fulfill and deliver orders placed through your store.
This information is stored temporarily and automatically deleted once fulfillment is complete.
We do not collect analytics, cookies, or behavioral data.
2. How We Use Your Personal Information
We use the personal information we collect to:
Provide and operate the Service (including order fulfillment, shipping, and product synchronization).
Communicate with you about orders or account matters.
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of customer purchases.
We do not use customer or merchant information for advertising, profiling, or analytics purposes.
3. Sharing Your Personal Information
We share information only as necessary to provide the Service:
Fulfillment and logistics partners receive limited customer data (shipping name, address, and order contents) to manufacture and deliver products.
Data may be transferred to regions where our manufacturing and shipping partners are located.
We do not sell, rent, or disclose personal information to third parties for marketing or unrelated purposes.
We may disclose limited information if required to comply with applicable laws or lawful requests (such as subpoenas or court orders).
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Airventory stores merchant and customer information only for as long as required to fulfill orders.
Once an order is completed, all associated customer data is automatically deleted from our systems.
When you uninstall the App, all merchant and customer data are permanently deleted immediately (0-day retention).
If you reinstall the App, new permissions will be requested from Shopify before any data access resumes.
5. International Data Transfers
As we serve merchants worldwide, customer shipping data may be transferred and processed in countries where our manufacturing and fulfillment operations are located. These transfers are performed solely to deliver products to end customers.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To make a request, please contact us at contact@airventory.io.
If you are a European or UK resident, please note that your information may be transferred outside Europe for the limited purposes described above.
7. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
